Reaching Corby with God’s Love

Welcome to St John’s Church in Corby

St John’s is a church for all: whether you consider yourself a ’fully-signed-up’ Christian, or not at all religious, and of course everything in between.

The Church of St John the Baptist is a relaxed and welcoming Anglican Church in Corby, Northamptonshire. Our services blend a traditional feel with contemporary worship, we place great importance on teaching from the Bible and regularly celebrate Holy Communion.

We love our town and community: We know that Corby is a great place to live and work. We value our partnership with organisations, schools, businesses, and our community in general. We believe that a stronger community makes for a stronger church and a stronger church makes for a stronger community.

We’re grateful for our heritage: With a worshipping congregation that traces its beginning back before Domesday, and a beautiful building which is around 800 years old, at St John’s we’re very aware that we’re building on the work of countless Christians who have gone before us.

We’re traditional but not stuffy: Our worship at St John’s Church Corby has a traditional feel as we draw on the riches of the past. However, we’re not afraid to try new things and recognise that God rarely allows us to get too comfortable. Beneath the formal veneer you will discover a down-to-earth bunch of people who are anything but stuffy.

We’re a church for imperfect people: Knowing that the good news of Jesus Christ is for all, we want to ensure that everyone feels at home at St John’s.
