During the coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic, we have suspended services in our church building and are finding other ways to ‘be church’ more remotely. Although we are necessarily physically distant, we can still get closer to each other and to God through using technology to stay connected.
Every Sunday we are posting a YouTube video with a short service you can engage with in your homes. We will have a talk, Bible reading, prayers and worship. There will also be a children’s activity video and worksheet most weeks. We encourage you to join in with this along with family members from your household, or if you live alone perhaps over the phone with another member of our church family.
Let’s watch the YouTube service together at 10am on a Sunday. After the service we always host a virtual ‘coffee time’ on Zoom video conferencing at around 10:45am. We would love for you to join us. There are also small prayer groups on Zoom you can join with. Look out for the links on your Saturday email from us or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The latest service (Sunday 21st June 2020) can be watched by clicking here.

For tea coffee and chat after the service check out our Facebook post which will go live every Sunday morning here.
For all of us this is a new way of being church and for our mutual encouragement we’d love it if you could take a selfie of you and others in your family joining in. Bonus points if you manage to capture your pets joining in worship…. Email any pictures to email@example.com
Virtual Bible Study
Our midweek Bible Study has now commenced via Zoom. Meeting on Wednesdays (from 29th April) at 7:30pm for an hour. The course is called ‘God’s Big Picture’ and begins with short videos by the Revd. Vaughan Roberts. It helps you get an overview of the message of the Bible and enables you to get much more out of your own Bible reading. If you are interested in joining a small group Bible study, just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
You may also like to join in two regular opportunities for prayer. On Sunday evenings we have a time of worship, alternating between Facebook Live worship and Zoom. If you would like to join us for either of these, or for the links to our Tuesday morning 8am prayer time on Zoom, check out our Facebook page here.
If you would like to receive emails with links for all of the above and are not currently on our contact list, please email us on email@example.com
Please also get in touch if you need help with Zoom video conferencing or accessing any church resources at this time.
