During the coronavirus/Covid-19 pandemic, we suspended services in our church building and have been finding other ways to ‘be church’ more remotely. Although we are necessarily physically distant, we can still get closer to each other and to God through using technology to stay connected.
We are now holding some small evening services in the building, and have a begun a short ‘Car Park Communion’ at 11:30am where we can join together while remaining socially distant.
Every Sunday we are continuing to post a YouTube video with a short service you can engage with in your homes. We will have a talk, Bible reading, prayers and worship. There will also be a children’s activity video and worksheet most weeks. We encourage you to join in with this along with family members from your household, or if you live alone perhaps over the phone with another member of our church family.
After the YouTube service we always host a virtual ‘coffee time’ on Zoom video conferencing at around 10:40am. We would love for you to join us. There are also small prayer groups on Zoom you can join with. Look out for the links on your Saturday email from us or email us at email@example.com.
The service can be watched by visiting our YouTube page here.
Links to the Zoom coffee time, service sheet, and children’s resources will be posted on our Facebook page here.
If you would like to receive emails with links for all of the above and are not currently on our contact list, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Please also get in touch if you need help with Zoom video conferencing or accessing any church resources at this time.
