Where Change Happens.
The Chapel Gym is a mission of St John’s at the Epiphany building in Corby town centre. A church, but not church as you know it. Through the gym, we seek to serve our community and connect with people who don’t usually come to church.
Providing a first-class fitness facility which is affordable to all, we have charity status and offer social-action activities in partnership with mental-health charities and local doctors.
We believe that the Chapel Gym can change lives for the better – improving not only physical health, but also mental and spiritual health.
For nearly 50 years the Church of the Epiphany served the town centre in Corby, but in 2011 its doors closed for regular worship. There is, however, still a chapel within the building in which we hold small regular prayer meetings that are open to all.
Like a regular gym, members can benefit from a variety of quality fitness equipment as well as many exercise and strength-training machines. There is also a weights area, calisthenics rig, and boxing ring as well as regular classes for adults and children.
At St John’s we know that the good news of Jesus Christ is for absolutely everyone – and the Chapel Gym helps us open the doors of the church wide.
