Everyone is welcome
Whether you’ve been going to church for years or are visiting for the very first time, you’ll find a warm welcome at St John’s. We are a church for people of all ages and backgrounds, and we’d love you to join us.
Sunday Services:
11.00am – Morning Service
A welcoming service with contemporary music, Bible teaching and Holy Communion.
(The first Sunday of each month is our all-age Family Communion service)
6.00pm – Evening Service
A relaxed service with worship, prayer and Bible teaching.
(Please note: the evening service pauses during July and August.)
11am Sunday Morning Service
Our 11.00am Sunday service blends the richness of Anglican tradition with contemporary music. We place great importance on teaching from the Bible and regularly celebrate Holy Communion together.
Refreshments are served after the morning service.
Children and young people are a valued part of our church family.
On the first Sunday of each month: we worship together in an all-age Communion service, with a shorter, interactive service designed to help everyone engage, whatever their age.
On all other Sundays: children in Reception to Year 6 are invited to join Ignite, our children’s group in the Church Hall. Through Bible stories, games, activities and discussion, they learn about God’s love in a fun, safe and engaging environment.
For babies and pre-school children: there’s a dedicated area within the church where parents and carers can remain together while still taking part in the service.
Evening Service
Our 6.00pm evening service is a quieter, more reflective gathering. With worship, prayer and Bible teaching, it offers space to pause, grow in faith and finish the weekend focused on Jesus before the week ahead.
Everyone is very welcome.
At St John’s we love to make all people feel welcome to all of our services – whether you’ve always felt home in a church building or are completely new to all things churchy.
