11am Sunday Morning Service
Everyone is very welcome, no matter where they come from and whoever they are. Our main Sunday service is an informal version of the Anglican tradition and draws together a diverse range of people of all ages.
On the first Sunday of every month we have a family communion service, where all ages can worship and learn together in a shorter, more interactive and informal service.
All other Sundays include Holy Communion and children’s activities in the hall.
Refreshments are served after the 11am Service.
Pre-Schoolers
There is an area within the main church building with resources for very small children to use during the service under parental/carer supervision.
Ignite
Children who are in Reception to Year 6 are part of our Ignite group. During the 11am service they go out into the church hall under the supervision of our children’s work leaders. They learn about the Bible and God’s great love for them in a way they can understand. Children are encouraged to ask questions and think about how Bible teachings might change the things they say and do.
6pm Evening Service
Our evening service meets every Sunday at 6pm. This stripped back gathering creates space to worship, reflect, and grow in your faith. With music, prayer, and Bible teaching, it offers a meaningful way to end the weekend together as we fix our eyes on Jesus and are encouraged for the week ahead.
Please note: our evening service pauses throughout July and August.
Everyone is very welcome.
At St John’s we love to make all people feel welcome to all of our services – whether you’ve always felt home in a church building or are completely new to all things churchy.
