Bethesda Life Centre – Beena & Martin
Bethesda Life Centre is a compassionate Christian ministry based in Panjim, Goa, India. Founded in 2001 by Beena and Martin, the ministry began by caring for a small number of abandoned children and an HIV-positive woman in need of love and support, and has since grown into a life-changing work serving hundreds of women and children.
Bethesda Life Centre supports some of the most vulnerable people in their community by providing safe homes, holistic care and education for underprivileged children, including those affected by HIV/AIDS and those living in vulnerable family situations. Alongside this, they support HIV-affected adults with practical care, equip women with life and vocational skills to encourage independence, provide specialist education for children with learning difficulties, and work to prevent child trafficking through education and community outreach.
Their work includes residential care homes and a range of rehabilitation and empowerment projects, such as the Sunflower Project and the Rising Star School, helping children and families find stability, dignity and hope.

Onesphore — Shammah Temple, Burundi
Onesphore is a minister at Shammah Temple, located in Bujumbura, Muha Parish, the commercial capital of Burundi. This region lies close to Lake Tanganyika and near Kibira National Park, an area currently considered unsafe due to rebel activity.
Our connection with Onesphore began through Great Lakes Outreach, which works to see Burundi transformed by empowering local leaders, promoting spiritual and physical wellbeing, and supporting sustainable community projects. One of these initiatives is the Antioch Foundation, which provides in-church training for pastors and congregations, distributes Christian resources, and supports church-planting movements across the region.
We support Onesphore in his ongoing ministry of church planting and leadership training, as local leaders are equipped to disciple others within their own churches and communities.

Andrew, Fiona & Anna — St John’s Church, Bransholme, Hull
Andrew, our former curate, along with his wife Fiona and their daughter Anna, now serve at St John’s Church, Bransholme in Hull. Bransholme is one of the largest housing estates in Europe and is an area with significant social and economic challenges, alongside a deep need for hope, community and the love of Jesus.
Through worship, discipleship, community outreach and pastoral care, their ministry seeks to serve people of all ages and support families within the local community. Key projects include the church’s Community Store and Community Garden, creating welcoming, shared spaces that encourage connection, wellbeing and opportunities for people to grow and flourish together.
We support Andrew, Fiona and Anna in their calling to serve faithfully at the heart of the Bransholme community, as the local church continues to be a place of welcome, care and hope.
